CAP Olympic Spring Collars | A Review

I’ve been lifting weights since I’ve been a teenager and I am turning 60 years old in June. So, let’s just say I know what I like when it comes to workout equipment and Olympic spring collars are certainly what I prefer to secure my weights. (Don’t miss my YouTube video below!)

So when I saw these CAP Olympic Spring Collars online I knew I had to have them for a home gym I’ve been creating in my 12’ X 20’ shed. I recently purchased a Body Solid EZ Curl 47 Inch Olympic bar for my workout area and needed to buy some collars that worked with a 2” bar.

These CAP Olympic Spring Collars reminded me of the ones that I loved using when I was working out at a gym. There are many different types of collars out there for Olympic size bars and I think I’ve used them all. But the spring collar version were the ones that I always searched for in the gym to secure my weights.

The only problem was that they were hard to find at the gym because everyone wanted to use them! Anyway, I now have my own that I don’t have to share with anyone else in my workout area of my shed.

Check out my YouTube video below of me using them in my shed with my EZ Curl Olympic bar.
