Hi Christine,
Thanks for your read. I have always tried to "maintain" to save money. By the way, I'm thinking of moving to WordPress for a number of reasons. One big problem I have is the inflexibility of their commenting feature.
Hope all is going well.

Best,
Bob

Hi Bob,

I think the idea for this series of posts is great. As you know I've just moved house and I cannot tell you how much money I've spent "out of left field". For example, electrical things in my old house that needed fixing before I could get a landlord's electrical certificate was a big one. In truth, I let little things go over the past few years, thinking I was avoiding paying out money. But I've undoubtedly ended up spending more down the track. So your message about maintenance is a real one for me, and it includes making necessary (smaller) expenses to avoid bigger bills down the track!

Warm wishes

Christine

Hi,
Thanks for reading my post and, I agree, furnace maintenance will also lead to more efficient usage and a lower utility bill. I truly appreciate you adding your comments and will be sure to visit your site.

Best,

Not only can changing your furnace air filter prevent costly damage repairs, but it can also lower your monthly utility bill.
