Happily ever after is what I am looking for. I believe that as you grow older with your spouse you have to work at things like communication a little bit harder than when you were younger. I think it is easy to drift apart and do your own things. As stated in the piece, having private time is still important but working on the communication aspect and spending time together will prepare you for the day when you are alone together. Yes, last year at this time we went through some trials and tribulations with my daughter leaving for school. It is easier now and will be easier next week when we bring her back to college. Nor do i plan on being one anytime soon. But this post lets me realize. Harmony is essential for daily life. With your spouse or your friends. We have to sometime let go, to grow. I guess, that's what you did when you let your eldest go off the school, i bet? We all go through trial and tribulations. It's better to focus on the good in your life, be happy for your commonalities between your favorite mate and grow old together. Happily ever after. I have never been a parent.
